How many students that graduate get jobs?

Hiring ratios are always a variable, but it is consistently very high at outs as well as our sister schools. Most of our students get jobs lined up before graduation! It may range anywhere from 80% to 100% of students that get a job in the dental field. Many dentists call us for hiring needs and we love to introduce candidates; Some of our students go on to Dental Hygiene school as well. Getting our students jobs is our first priority!

How much money will I make?

In Utah the average rate of Dental Assisting is $14/ hr-$23hr.  We see the range begins at $14 and up to $19 for high functioning Dental Assistants depending on the area you live in. Most offices utilize a bonus system, and have other compensation benefits.

Do I get to work with a Dentist?

Yes! Once you have completed half of our program you are ready to begin your Externship at Elevated Family Dentistry, or at another office of your choosing.

Dr. Larsen is one of the best and most trust worthy dentists around! We believe he is the perfect Dentist to help our students learn, become an effective assistant, and to achieve their goals.

Do you help with Job Placement?

Yes! Placement assistance is available. Training includes interviewing skills and resume preparation, lists of websites to search for positions, and training on how to present yourself professionally.  Our primary goal is to get our students hired!

How can I graduate in 10 weeks?

We find our students are incredibly successful in our fast and hands on learning approach.  When students sit behind a desk for six months then finally get out into a real office, they are terrified from only being ‘book smart’.  No chance to be scared at our school, you perform real procedures from day 1!

What does it take to be a good Dental Assistant?

The biggest thing is to be willing to learn and grow each day! Dental Assisting is a very unique and rewarding career that allows personal interaction with many people throughout the day.
